Furniture and fabrications
The gallery at Project 1628 occupies the front portion of a large 1870's row house. The basement workshop with 10' ceiling height is located directly below. Skills and tools acquired by owner Marcia Hart over years of extensive renovations are now applied to making custom furniture primarily in wood and steel.
Pieces shown below were designed and fabricated on site. Many were made to solve for a specific need in the home. Some are for sale or may be replicated.
